PAST EVENTS
Den of Cookies Ninjas is a bakery club that was organized by Sunway students since the year of 2014. It had been almost a year since the club had started up and therefore, we as the members of this club had decided and planned to do a charity event in order to raise up the amount of money collected during the event to be used for charity purposes. Hence, the money collected by each respective clubs during the event was used to donate for the suffering poors and needies out there.
On the 20th of August 2015, Den of Cookies Club and other clubs from different school had a big event on that particular day at Sunway college. Den of Cookies Club competed with the four other groups from other colleges and had a competition among themselves. The group who sold the most number of cookies and the group which got the most positive and good reviews about the cookies was determined to be the winner of that event.
Well, on the day of the event, the event started approximately at 8.30 in the morning. The event was held at the Hall of Sunway College. Each of the respective group set up their own booths in the hall and there were five booths altogether that were set up on that day. At approximately 9 am , the hall was already crowded and there were massive amount of crowd in our booth, the Den of cookies club. We sold the most amount of varieties of cookies on that day compared to other groups such as the iced pumpkin cookies ( best seller) , chocolate chip cookies, soccer ball cookies, peanut butter cookies, brownies, jam tart , dehlia and many more.
Eventually within two hours of the event, most of our cookies were already sold off as many customers were purchasing our cookies. Thus far, many customers who bought and tried our cookies gave a really good review of our cookies saying that all the cookies tasted really good and luscious. Many customers who bought from us also asked our name card and details to order the cookies from us. At the end of the event, the prizes were given out to the winner of the day. Therefore, Den of cookies Club’s name were called out and basically our club who won the first prize because our club earned the most amount of money and it actually hit a very high amount which was RM 7000 that we had earned, for that few hours of selling those cookies. Lastly, from what we had earned on that particular day, we had given the money for charity to the needies out there. It was such a great and pleasant experience though.
